Creepy House Tour
Happy Halloween!
In honor of Throwback Thursdays and Halloween, we pulled out this old VR 360 tour of a house on Elm Street in Rocky Mount Mills. Yup, Elm Street. This was the state of the house before renovations started. More than a little scary.
There are lots of navigation options in this VR tour. All the images are 360’s with links to adjoining rooms and views. You can also jump directly to the room you want on the floor plan (right hand side) or the images at the bottom. I think the very coolest feature is that if you view it on a tablet or a smart phone, you can turn your device, and the tour responds. I expect using VR goggles would be even cooler, but I don’t have any. Please let us know if you give them a try!
The redevelopment of Rocky Mount Mills is a huge undertaking that is producing some remarkable results. We have been very fortunate to be involved in documenting this historic project over the last few years. We will no doubt continue to share architectural and detail images of this process as it unfolds.
If you want to see an “after” view of a house on this street, you can find another of our tours on this Rocky Mount Mills page: http://www.rockymountmills.com/live/village-homes/ Just scroll down to click on the “See A Virtual Tour” link.
