So we are fly out of RDU Terminal 1 on Southwest Airlines to Photograph the Cater Source convention in Las Vegas…  Just dumped a hundred pounds of photo gear with the skycap and started to make our way to the terminal. (no I didn’t leave my camera with the sky cap… that always stays with me.  it was a pile of light stands, lights, mobile battery units, etc.)  I’m minding my own business, clutching my boarding passes, leaping old ladies toting small dogs in plastic boxes and I look up to see a picture I’d recently taken being displayed on the video monitor.  I stopped, I was shocked and excited to see them using the image.  I always love to see my images in use.  It is great when they take life outside my computer.

I was so excited  that I had to have my picture taken with the image I’d taken… it was all rather strange.   A whole crowd of people stopped and started asking questions like “what are you doing having your picture taken with that picture?”  When I told them I’d taken the photograph, they didn’t believe me because “I was holding a boarding pass” What ever…
