After scouring the local “yard sale stores” as my kids call them- I found the perfect outfits for our first yellow chair shoot! I was inspired by some vintage photographs I’ve been seeing in magazines and craft stores. I wanted to play with these types of images- but wanted them of my loved ones. So I dragged my husband, my kids, my first willing victims, and of course my Yellow Chairs- to a park on Memorial Day. I thought by having the shoot start by 9:30am we would beat the heat – but I was wrong. After scouting the park and picking a spot I was “glistening”. To give you the full picture- these shoots usually go like this…
